[Out & About] Santa Anita Race Track & Park

Not to brag or anything like that, but I must say that Summer is a beautiful thing in LA and in Southern California in general.  This past weekend we headed to Santa Anita Park for a little horse race and fun in the sun action.

The weather was sunny and perfect, to stroll around the park, catch a few horse races, grab a few beers and people watch, my favorite part!

When it comes to "horse race attire" we tend to think of Kentucky Derby stylish ladies and sharp dressed men.  However, I like to stay true to my laid-back and "chill" aesthetic and don't feel comfortable walking / stomping around the track in three inch heels and a tight and stuffy dress.  Therefore, I usually dress as if I am attending a Summer music festival.
